These land disposal sites will <br /> _ :. be acquired and developed by the MWCC. after proper permits are ob <br /> rained from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). Counties' <br /> and local.units of government may impose conditions or restrictions <br /> . on the construction, operation, monitoring and maintenance of a waste <br /> '~ ' -facility of the MWCC and on.the sale,, storage, use and disposal of <br />-.-':~ sewage sludge on private property as a soil conditioner or amend-_ <br />· merit._ According to the Waste Management Act, the conditions or <br /> restrictions imposed by:a county or-local unit of government must be .-- <br /> authorized and approved'by the Council and the MPCAJ..These condl= <br /> tions'or ordinances must,be conslstent_ with. the. _ ,C°uncil's_ :..
