Mr. Curt Titterud said there would be a basement. Mr. Peter Neider further commented that he did not feel that the older home would ever look like the plans indicated that it would, that he did not feel it was possible. Mr. Jack Klebba, 16200 Jaspar Street N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota questioned if there would be an upstairs and also if there would be a double garage. Mr. Titterud said there would be an attic and a double detached garage. ~ir. Jack Klebba further commented that he knew of only two homes that were brought into Ramsey and those homes "stuck out like a sore thumb" and he did not thinkMr. Titterud's house would fit into the neighborhood. He also said he would prefer to not see the house moved into the neighborhood. Mr. Tom Bauerkemper, 6855 - 162nd Lane N.W., Ramsey, ~innesota, said that he did not think the house would fit into the neighborhood and that Mr. Titterud's house would lower the value of other homes in the neighborhood. He questioned where a septic tank and sewer system would go because the lot is very low in the back. Mayor Gamec said that there was nothing that Nit. Titterud was doing wrong that was against any ordinances or code requirements. Technically, he did not feel that the Council could deny the request. Building Official Berg said that soil borings were done and that they met the code. . Councilman Cox said that the only issue is the aesthetics o e home to make it compatible with the neighborhood aud that Mr. T~tterud s{house supercedes what the present building requirements and codes are at this time. Nayor Gamec commented that all building codes and requirements would have to be met and that the house should be built according to the plans submitted by Mr. Titterud and that there would be no outside storage or commercial equip- ment. Also that a bond would be set at a minimum of $10,000.00 and that there would be a time limit set for completion. Notionby Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman~ickelson directing staff to draw up a contract between the City of Ramsey and Mr. Curt Titterud with regard to the moving in of a house on 162nd Lane N.W. ~btion carried. Voting yes ~or Gamec, Councilpersons Sorteberg, Relmann, Mickelson and Cox. Voting no None. Nayor Gamec presented Councilperson Mickelson with a placque and thanked him for all the work he has done for the City of Ramsey. COUNCIL 0LDBUSINESS Discussion was held with regard to the hiring of another person to help with ordinances, etc. Administrator Schnelle commented on how time consuming many of the jobs are that have to be done.
