Motion by Councilperson Reimann and seconded by Councilperson Sorteberg <br />to appoint Mr. William Goodrich of the Randall, Dehn and Goodrich Law Firm <br />as the City Attorney for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilpersons Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Van Wagner and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilperson Cox and seconded by Councilperson Reimann to desig- <br />nate the following institutions as the City's official depositories of City <br />funds: <br /> <br /> a) First National Bank of Anoka <br /> *b) State Bank of Anoka <br /> c) First National Bank of ~dnneapolis <br /> d) Northwestern Bank of Mdnneapolis <br /> e) Twin City Federal Savings and Loan <br /> f) ~dnnesota Federal Savings ~nd Loan <br /> <br /> *State Bank of Anoka will have the City of Ramsey's checking account <br /> and savings. The other banking institutions will be used for short <br /> and long term savings deposit when they offer better interest rates. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting no None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />PARTIAL PAY ESTIMATE #4 80-9, 80-10, 80-12 and 80-14 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilperson Cox and seconded by Councilperson Reimann to authorize <br />payment of City Engineers Partial Pay Est~ste #4 dated December ll, 1980 in <br />the amount of $17,998.79 based on the City Engineer's letter dated December 22, <br />1980 which is contained in enclosure (D2-a) of this agenda dated Jan11A~y 13, <br />1981. <br /> <br />Further to authorize Mayor Gamec to sign the partial pay estimate #4 dated <br />December 11, 1980 in the amount of $17,998.79. <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Coancilpersons Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Van Wagner and Cox.
