Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilpersons Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Van Wagner and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />ASSESSING ARFA LOST HOURS <br /> <br />Councilperson Reimann said we should stick with the 200 hours given to the <br />Assessor and tell him to put in some more time on the job. City Admini- <br />strator Schnelle said the job has to get done and Lester needs the hours. <br /> <br />Council discussed thoroughly the merits of this additional hour request. <br /> <br />No formal action was taken. <br /> <br />The Council also discussed the State local aid sales ratio. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilperson Cox and seconded by Councilperson Sorteberg to <br />direct staff to get an answer from the Commissioner of Revenue on the reasons <br />for the inequity in the sales ratio. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilpersons Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Van Wagner and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />COUNTY TAX SETTLEMENTS <br /> <br />Council discussed the late payment of our tax settlements and the loss of <br />interest revenue to R~m~ey because of this. Ralph McGinley has advised <br />Administrator Schnelle that he would look into this problem. <br /> <br />FEDERAL CENSUS/ANOKA COUNTY <br /> <br />Motion by Councilperson Relm~run and seconded by Councilperson Sorteberg to <br />accept the 1980 census and to advise the County that Ramsey has reviewed <br />its census and based on this review the Council feels that the census is <br />accurate and that R~m~ey does encourage the County to review the remainder <br />of the County. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilpersons Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Van Wagner and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />GRAVES SITE AND DESIGN PI~ AGKE~I~ENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilperson Cox and seconded by Councilperson Reimann to approve <br />of the agreement between the City of Ramsey and Louis and The]ma Graves. <br />Further, to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to sign said agree- <br />ment. <br /> <br />C/January 13, 1981 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
