Voting no None. <br /> <br />NUGENT CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AGRED~ENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilperson Reimann and seconded by Councilperson Van Wagner <br />to approve the Conditional Use Permit AGreement. Further, to authorize the <br />Mayor and City Administrator to sign the above said agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilpersons Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Van Wagner and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />STAFF REPORTS FOR YEAR ENDING 1980 <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec reported on the lot size meeting scheduled for January 26, 1981 <br />with the Metro Council with the Department of Natural Resources staff. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilperson Reimann and seconded by Councilperson Cox to allow <br />staff to use estimated costs for the construction projects #80-15 and #80-16 <br />and Tungsten Street overlay in order to allow people to pay off these assess- <br />ments if they so desire. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilpersons Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Van Wagner and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />GRANTS - Councilperson Cox reported on the EDC Grant progress. He said the <br />County will be reporting that the site is feasible and there is money avail- <br />able. This information will be presented to the County on the 19th of <br />January. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilperson Cox and seconded by Councilperson Sorteberg to <br />appoint Mr. Garnet Pederson and Mayor Gamec to the Steering Committee on <br />Community Development Block Grants. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mmyor Gamec, Councilpersons Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Van Wagner and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Council discussed at length the current status on seeking legislation for <br />equal distribution of local state aids. No form~l action was taken. <br /> <br />The 'Council discussed the difficulty iu getting action initiated in getting <br />some relief regardLug the taxation of commercial and industrial buildings <br />and land. It was agreed that there is too little time for the Council and <br />existing staff to really get into this problem. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEYREPORT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilperson Reimann and seconded by Councilperson Sorteberg to <br />authorize the City Attorney to obtain the approximate 50 acre tract of land <br />lying West of Variolite Street and North of 161st from Federal Cartridge <br />and forward that Corporation a deed for its execution.
