(4) Prosress Payments:._ Onfe' each menth the Owner shall pay the Engineer for professional services performed under Arttcles 2.G and 2.0 of this Agreement in proportion to services performed during the period. The Engineer shall provide the Owner with an itemized bill detailing the services performed during the period. B. Payments for Basic Services of the Engineer: The Owner shall PRY the Engineer for the basic services described in Article 2.B of this Agreement, a basic fee as shown on Schedule 'A', being a percentage of the Construction Cost of the Project with progress pa~nents as herein provided. At the completion of each phase of the work, progress payments shall total the following percentages of the Basic Fee for the Project, or estim~tes thereof. (1) Olagram~ttcs: 10%, based upon the dtagran~atlc cost estimate. (2) Preliminaries: 30%, based upon the preliminary cost estimate. (3) Contract Documents: 75%, based upon the final cost estimate. {4) Receipt of Proposals: 80%, based upon the lowest bonaftde pro- posal. .{Si During Construction: gO%, based upon the total constructlJn cost '~ of the Project. ,(6) Completion of Project: 100% of Basic fee for project. C. Pa~ents fur Engineer's Reimbursable Services: The Engineer shall be reimbursed at cost for the reimbursable services outlined under Artt- · cle 2.0, with the exception of the work done by special consultants. Work done by special consultants as directed by the Engineer shall be billed directly to the O~er. ~owever, the Engineer shall review the bills and make recommendations for payment by the Owner. The Owner's Pay~edts to the Engineer, General Engineering Services or Extra Services: A. The costs for those services described in paragraph 3 shall be billed on the basis of the pRyroll costs of the Engineer for each person performing the work, times a multiplier. This multiplier applied to the salary cast is considered to cover the Engineer's costs for pRy- irmll, taxes, rent uttlttles, office overhead, lost time or readiness to serve, equipment overhead, insurance, legal and accounting costs plus a reasonable margin of profit. The multiplier to be utilized as 'a part of this agreement shall be 2.75 (two and seventy-five hun- 'dredths). B. *In any case in which the multiplier times the payroll cost of any individual exceeds $40.00 per hour, the latter hourly rate will be ~charged. C. The Engineer shall bill the Owner ~nthly and shall provide the Owner with an itemized billing statement for work performed during the billing period and the payroll cost to the Engineer of the person performing said work. The Engineer's billing shall also specify such items in said billing which may be charged back to developers under 'the ter~ of the City of RamsRy Ordinances or Councll Resolutions.
