If Council accepts the bids and awards a contract for construction of the improvements, letters will be mailed to <br />property owners with updates on the project status. Engineering Staff maintains City Improvement webpages with <br />the most current project information, this can be found on the City website, Engineering department page. <br />Time Frame/Observations/Alternatives: <br />Alternative #1 — Motion to adopt Resolution #23-081 awarding a contract for 161 st Avenue Reconstruction, <br />Improvement Project #23-01. <br />Alternative #2 — Motion of other. <br />Funding Source: <br />Funding for this improvement is proposed to come from MSA funds, Stormwater Utility Funds, Sanitary Sewer <br />Utility Funds, Water Utility Funds, and Park Improvement Trust Funds. City Staff applied for the State Active <br />Transportation Grant to help offset construction costs of the trail, but were unsuccessful at obtaining the grant <br />award. <br />Bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald and in Finance and Commerce on March 17 and March 24, <br />2023.
