Abstaining: Councilwoman VanWagner- <br /> Councilman Cox introduced the following resolution snd moved for its adoption, <br /> seconded by Councilwoman VanWagner: Resolution 81-7 giving Tacit approval of <br /> Anoka County's Comprehensive Plan also directing that the airport be included in <br /> the Anoka Comprehensive Plan and that the Rum River Multipurpose Facility be <br /> included and the Rum River Bridge crossing. <br /> (Please refer to the Resolution File for Resolution 81-7). <br /> Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gsmec, CounciLman Sorteberg, Councilman Reimsr~u, <br /> Councilman Cox, Councilwoman Van Wagner. Voting no: None. <br /> At this time Randy Peterson was introduced at the meeting as the new Senator for <br /> District 19. He introduced himself and stated he was interested in the Wetlands <br /> issue. <br /> Councilwoman Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> ~.~adoptlon seconded by Councilman £orteberg: Adopting Resolution 81-8 granting <br />~pproval to the City of Anoka Comprehensive Plan. <br /> (Please refer to the Resolution File for Resolution 81-8). <br /> Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Sorteberg, Councilman Reimann, <br /> Councilman Cox and Councilwoman VanWagner- Voting no: None. <br /> 5. PLANNED UNIT DEVEL01~T (PUD) EAST OF HY #47 BETWEEN 164th and 170th LANES. <br /> Mayor Gamec stated now is not the time to get involved, send a letter to this effect: <br /> the Ramsey Council reviewed and at this time is not interested in getting involved <br /> in a golf course. <br /> <br /> 6. ~iISCETJ~hNEOUS INFORMATION: <br /> Mayor Gamec stated in regard to the NAIOP News the Council ~oted it and it should <br /> be placed on the agenda for the Industrial Commission. Also the League Memo re: Governor's <br /> budget. <br /> <br /> 7. REQUEST CITY TO BECC~iEN~ER OF iNTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF <br /> BUILDING OFFICIALS. <br /> Councilman Reimann stated he feels this is a duplication of the North Star <br /> publication. Building Official Berg stated joining the ICBO would be less <br /> expensive than purchasing the materials received from this conference separately. <br /> Reimann asked what benefit it would be to the City. Councilwoman VanWagner <br /> asked Mr. Berg if he needed these books. Mr. Berg stated it would be more <br /> thorough than what he has now. Reimann stated we do follow the Uniform <br /> Building Code now. <br /> Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to table this <br /> issue until next year. <br /> Motion carried.
