METROPOLITAN couNCIL <br /> Suite 300 Metro Square Building, St. Paul, Minnesota 55101 <br /> <br /> March 6, 1981 <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: Physical Development Committee <br />FROM: Environmental Planning (jaCk Frost) <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Anoka interceptor Plans and Specifications <br /> Metropolitan Council District No. 12 <br /> Metropolitan Council Referral File No. 6986-2 <br /> <br />iNTRODUCTION <br />The Metropolitan Waste Control Com~%ission (MWCC) has resubmltt~dw <br />plans and specifications for the Anoka Interceptor for our revle and <br />comment. <br /> <br />AUTHORIT~ FO___~R ~KEVIE~ <br /> The Metropolitan Reorganization Act (Minnesota Statutes 473.161) and <br /> the Council's Water Quality Management Plan Procedure 5 allow the <br /> - ~ - and s~ecificati°ns for <br /> Council to review and comment on t~e p~an~ ~ _ - -- <br /> conformance with the approved Development Program before or at the <br /> time the Capital improvement Budget is submitted for approval. <br /> DESCRIPTION OF T~E_ PROJEC~ <br /> The project consists of 11,100 lineal feet of intercepting sewers <br /> generally ranging in size from 30 inches to 48 inches. However, a procedural <br />inconsistency with the Development Program did exist. The <br /> Program required that Anoka participate in the cost Of <br /> Development . . · .
