_ PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Public Hearing: 7:35 - Street Improvement Project #81 -1 <br />Peltzer Addition and an Unplatted Section <br />Members Present: Mayor Gamec <br />Engineer Raatikka stated it is assessed one unit per lot. <br />Citizen Dennis Johnson, 149th Lane asked if there would be <br />any changes in a tarred driveway. <br />Engineer Raatikka stated yes, the citizen would be responsible <br />for filling in any gap between the street and the existing driveway. <br />Usually it is within one foot. <br />Mayor Gamec stated the foreman of the project can usually <br />fill it in if you contact prior to them coming and make arrangements <br />for then to cane back if you feel their bid is adequate. <br />C ./ Citizen Paul Morgan wanted to know what effect approval of the <br />landfill would have. <br />Citizen Linda Zimmerman asked if driveways would be removed. <br />April 14, 1981 <br />Public Hearing <br />Councilwoman Van Wagner <br />Councilman Reimann <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br />Councilman Cox (late 7:50 p.m.) <br />Also Present City Attorney Goodrich <br />City Building Offical Berg <br />City Administrator Schnelle <br />City Engineer Raatikka <br />A public hearing was held on Tuesday April 14, 1981, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota 55303, at 7:35 P.M., regarding the Street Improvement <br />Project #81 -1 Peltzer Addition and an Unplatted Section. <br />City Engineer Raatikka used an overhead projector to explain <br />to the public the proposed street improvement costs and details. <br />Citizen Doug Fountain, 15255 Garnet Street came before the <br />Council and stated he had circulated a petition with the intention <br />that Limonite Street would be included.
