City Engineer Raatikka stated no, driveways would not be <br />removed and if damaged they would be repaired. <br />Citizen Jeff Erickson asked about a culvert. <br />Mayor Gamec explained the city takes care of driveway culverts <br />and only specify if one is needed. <br />Mayor Gamec noted letters from Mr. Lou Finch, Mr. Gallagher <br />and Mr. Dan Hat, all in favor of the project. <br />Citizen Dick Buness inquired if the cost for the project is <br />less compaired to last year's proposed cost. <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated the costs were a little higher <br />due to the bituminous costs were up 78 %. <br />Qitizen Jeff Erickson asked about the proposed easement that <br />will run through his property. <br />Mayor Gamec stated he would be contacted regarding the proposed <br />easement. <br />Citizen Doug Fountain had last year's figures for the project; <br />$224,000.00 including the Limonite addition compaired to $187,000 <br />this year. <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated last year's bid included the <br />Beaudry addition. <br />Citizen Dick Buness stated he wanted the public to be aware the <br />costs were down anyway. <br />Citizen Linda Zimmerman asked what would be the unit cost. <br />. City Engineer Raatikka stated the cost per unit would be $2,483.00. <br />Citizen Linda.zimmerman asked when construction would start. <br />City Enginner Ratikka stated mid to end of June. <br />Mayor Gamec stated the weather and construction time and <br />getting bids of 4 or 5 other projects at the same time determine <br />and make it difficult to determine exactly when construction would <br />begin. <br />Mayor Gamec took a poll and asked that one person per household <br />be included; all in favor of complete project including Limonite <br />Street: 21 plus 3 letters = 24, all against the total project: 0, <br />all opposed to Limonite street included = 1. <br />There were no other questions or comments by the public. <br />Motion by Councilman Reiman and seconded by Councilwoman Van Wagner <br />to close the public hearing. <br />-- . ;.
