..r <br />Mr. Albert stated he would object and thought 152nd should be <br />next to city hall. <br />Building official Berg stated before the preliminary plat stage, this <br />issue should go to the city coulcil first to iron out past actions <br />regarding 152nd before proceeding with the preliminary plat. <br />Motion by Ronald West and seconded by Kenneth Peterson, that theMarx <br />addition sketch plan go to the city council without any recommendations <br />until the matter of 152nd or access to the property has been cleared <br />up and the sketch plan be returned to the P &Z Commission for reviewal <br />and recommendation. <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Chairman Kenneth Peterson, Benjamin <br />Deemer, Arthur Dunn, Gerald Zimmerman and Ronald West. Voting <br />not None. <br />• 5) Metro Council Propsed Amendments to the 1980 -1981 <br />Local Planning Assistance Grants <br />Kenneth Peterson stated the Metro Council Proposed Amendments to the <br />1980 -81 Local Planning Assistance Grants regarding Item IX, have <br />already given us an extension provision. <br />Arthur Dunn stated the problem with teh Metro Council is that they <br />put down in an anaxious fashion and interpret differently later. <br />Anything that could be considered not in the best interest of <br />local government should be opposed. <br />6) Metro Council Guidelines for Reviewing Local Government <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendments. <br />The P &Z Commission noted receipt of the recently adopted Metropolitan <br />• Council Guidelines for Reviewing Local Government Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendments. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />Mayor Gamec was present and discussed withthe Planning and Zoning <br />Commission and explained to the commission the Council discussion <br />regarding water and sewer at the last Council meeting. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION INPUT <br />Benjamin Deemer stated the county is proposing a juvenile detention <br />center and no site has been selected at this time. <br />Mayor Gamec discussed the recodification of ordinances and the P &Z <br />involvement in the project. <br /> I( <br />Kenneth Peterson discussed the reviewing of applications for the <br />Assistant Administration position. <br />P &Z /April 7, 1981 <br />2 <br />
