Council Action Your action will be to approve /disapprove of <br />their recommendations. <br />CASE #4: APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE SPECIAL ELECTION: <br />Enclosure (D2 -c) contains proposed list of the judges for the <br />Council to review and act on at this meeting. It also contains <br />a list of the precincts and the Notice of Special Election that <br />has been posted. <br />Council Action Your action will be to approve /disapprove of the <br />election judges contained in the proposed list in the above enclosure. <br />CASE #5: PARK FEE ON VERNDALE PLAT; CASE OF MR. RON WEST: <br />Due to the state of the economy and land sales in the Anoka - <br />Ramsey area, Mr. Ron West is requesting that the City Council <br />allow him to pay the park fee on the above plat as he sells lots <br />or improves them. He states that the front end funding require- <br />ments are just too much at this time. His park fee on this plat <br />is $1,120.00. <br />City policy presently requires the developers to pay these costs <br />right up front which does put a heavy burden on the developer. The <br />Council may want to take a look at this policy. <br />Council Your action will be to approve /disapprove of Mr. <br />West's request. <br />CASE #6: CITY POLICY REGARDING THE BLACK TOPPING OF CITY STREETS IN NEW <br />DEVELOPMENTS: <br />The Council discussed at length at their April 14, 1981 Council <br />meeting the city policy in regards to whether the developer should <br />put in permanent black top streets or temporary black top streets <br />in the Flintwood II Plat. After much discussion, Council asked <br />staff to come back with some policy recommendations for next <br />Council meeting. <br />Comments We will have these recommendations for Council at the <br />meeting for your discussion. <br />Council Action Your action will be either to reaffirm your present <br />policy or adopt a new policy. <br />CASE #7: CORNER STONE PLAQUE FOR CITY HALL: <br />As requested I checked with Setter, Leach and Lindstrom about the <br />corner stone plaque for the Ramsey Municipal Center. They stated <br />the purchase of a plaque was not in the contract, however, they <br />
