Mr. McCarty stated here at this meeting that Street Improvement #79-8 had created a drainage problem for him in regards to his driveway. c) Excerpt from Council minutes dated October 9, 1979 which discussed the Joe McCarty culvert problem. Comment: This particular house was constructed back in 19~d there was not a driveway culvert put in evidently at the time of construction. According to Merle, Yr. McCarty has wanted the City to put in a culvert prior to the above project. If a driveway culvert is to be installed the drainage ditch that would serve this culvert would have to be reshaped in order for it to be effective. Consequently, I think Council may want to have a finding of fact on this case prepared as to who will be responsible for the cost of it. Council Action: Your action will be to direct staff to in- stall driveway c~ulvert and reshape the ditch at City expense or do it at the property owners expense.
