Hayor Oamec exp]ained that concrete driveways cannot be connected to <br />the street. The problem being is that ih the future if any work has <br />to be done there, culverts etc, there has to be an expansion strip <br />installed about eight feet from the road and if it has to be torn up <br />for some reason, that it w~uld not be replaced with concrete. <br />~4ayor'Gamec discussed the signihg study that is presently being <br />conducted by the Street I)epartnmnt. He said there is less speeding <br />now than there was before. Some of this problem has been alleviated <br />through neighborhood meetings, police radar, etc. <br />Hotion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilmmn Sorteberg <br />to close the hearing. <br />~btion carried.
