Re~zlar Planning and Zoning Commission dated April 7, 1981. <br /> <br />Motion by Kenneth Peterson and seconded by Kathy Schneider to postpone <br />approval of the April 7, 1981 regular planning and zoning commission <br />minutes until Mr. D~nn arrives. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Kenneth Peterson, Gerald Zin~erman, <br />Benjamin Deemer and Kathy Schneider. Voting no: none. <br /> <br />B. NOTE BOARDSAND CO~ISSIONS <br /> <br />The following were noted bythe Commission: <br /> <br />1) Reg~Llar meeting City Council dated March 24, 1981 <br />2) Public Hearing regarding street improvement Project #81-1 <br /> Peltzer Addition dated April 14, 1981. <br />3) Public Hearing regarding Cable TV dated April 14, 1981 <br />4) Regular meeting City Council dated April 14, 1981 <br />5) Special meeting City Council dated April 16, 1981 <br /> <br />There were no further comEents by the Commission. <br /> <br />C. LETTERS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />The following were noted: <br /> <br /> l) Letter dated April 23, 1981 from General Mills Inc RE: <br /> property located in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Their <br /> <br />D. PLANNING COMMISSION BUSINESS: <br /> <br />CASE #1: MR, DONALD JONES REQUEST ~FOR 'CONDITIONAL 'USE PERMIT: <br /> <br />The following enclosures were provided by staff for consideration regarding <br />this request: <br /> <br />1. Application for conditional use request <br />2. Application for sign permlt <br />3. Letter from Mr. Jones <br />4. Certificate of mailing <br />5. Public hearing notice <br />6. Finding of fact <br /> <br />Mr. Jones came before the Commission and explained his request and desire for <br />a sign of approximately 2.5' by 3'with printed matter on each side. <br /> <br />The sign limit was explained (2 square feet ) without a variance. <br /> <br />Mr. Jones explained his work would be done in a 30 by 40 garage area with no <br />outside display except sign. <br /> <br />Kenneth Peterson if this would be a primary source of income. <br />Mr. Jones is presently employed by Anoka West doing motorcycle work. <br />Kathy Schneider asked if ~r.
