1ft ~, Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81-11a .,RESOLUTION ACQUIRING THE FOLLOWING TAX FORFEIT LAND FOR PUBLIC USE WHEREAS, the Anoka County Auditor by letter dated March 4, 1981 advised the City of Ramsey of the following parcels that were tax forfeit land: a) Plat 89302 Parcel 2100 b) Outlot "B" Whispering Pines Estates Plat #3 c) Plat 89222 Parcel 4950 d) Outlot "A" Whispering Pines Estates Plat #3 e) Plat 89210 Parcel 9050 WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council finds that each of the above described parcels has certain potential (such as right-of-way and drainage) and is in the City's best interest (health, safety and welfare) of the citizens of the City of Ramsey. '~ NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA; as follows: 1) That the City of Ramsey acquire from the State of Minnesota for in consideration of $10 per, parcel the following parcels of land for public use only: ~ -(~ a) Plat 89302 Parcel 2100 b) Outlot "B" Whispering Pines Estates Plat #3 . c) Plat 89222 Parcel 4950 d) Outlot "A" Whispering Pines Estates Plat #3 e) Plat 89210 Parcel 9050~ ; 2) That the City's Mayor and Administrative Assistant/ Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the necessary documents in'order to effectuate this property acquisition. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 24th day of March, 1981. ,Vc~~J~L i ' i.
