PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Monday, January 11, 2010, in <br />the Alexander Ramsey Room of the Ramsey Municipal Center. <br />Members Present: <br />Also Present: <br />Chairperson John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Human Resources Manager Givonna Reed Kone <br />City Administrator Kurtis G. Ulrich <br />Deputy City Administrator/Director of Comm Dev Heidi Nelson <br />Planning Manager Amber Miller <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Dehen called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at <br />9:33 a.m. <br />2. CITIZEN INPUT <br />None <br />3. APPROVE AGENDA <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey and seconded by Councilmember McGlone to <br />approve the agenda as presented. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Dehen, and Councilmembers Jeffrey and <br />McGlone. <br />City Administrator Ulrich noted that Fire Chief Dean Kapler was currently on a call and <br />may not be back for the discussion of the Fire Officer Selections. <br />4. Committee Business <br />4.01 Consider Ending the Probationary Period for the Deputy City <br />Administrator/Director of Community Development <br />Human Resources Manager Reed Kone stated the Heidi Nelson was promoted to Deputy <br />City Administrator/Director of Community Development in June 2009 and has <br />successfully completed the required six-month probationary period.
