Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #13-04-075 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MANAGER <br />WHEREAS, at the February 12, 2013, City Council meeting, staff was <br />authorized to conduct a recruitment process to fill the Economic Development Manager <br />position; and <br />WHEREAS, a recruitment process was conducted and six candidates were <br />interviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Sean Sullivan has been selected as the top candidate for the <br />Economic Development Manager position; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has completed the necessary background checks and is <br />recommending that Mr. Sean Sullivan be hired as the City's Economic Development <br />Manager at $37.45 per hour, effective on or near May 28, 2013, with a credit of five <br />vacation days. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br />Motion to approve resolution #13-04-075, to hire Mr. Sean Sullivan as the City's new <br />Economic Development Manager, effective on or near May 28, 2013, at $37.45 per hour <br />with a credit of five vacation days. <br />The motion for the adoption of the 'foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 23rd day of April 2013. <br />
