1) That Nr. Joe NcCarty's house at 6877 - 162nd L~ue N.W. was constructed <br />in 1972. <br /> <br />2) That both past 8nd present City policy requires that culverts, where <br />required be supplied s_ud installed by the homeowner. <br /> <br />3) That both past and present policy require that the Building Inspector <br />and/or Street Superintendent determine when and where culverts are re- <br />quired. <br /> <br />4) That there are no records available in the Building Inspectors files <br />indicating whether or not the builder and/or owner were informed of the <br />need for a culvert. <br /> <br />5) That present policy requires culverts where any ditch section is to <br />be filled for the purpose of constructing a driveway. <br /> <br />6) That if Nr. McCarty's drivewaywere to be constructed under present <br />policies, a culvert would be required. <br /> <br />7) That~tr. McCarty appeared at a public hearing for street improvements <br />on Nay 29, 1979, and questioned the need for a culvert in his driveway. <br /> <br />8) That Nr. McCarty w~s informed at that meeting that the culvert in- <br />stallation would be his responsibility. <br /> <br />9) That there is and was a need for a culvert in~r. McCarty's driveway. <br /> <br /> 10) That installation of a culvert at this time will require regradiug <br /> of the ditch section. <br /> <br />ll) That regading of the ditch section could hamper Nr. NcCsrtY's <br />effective use of the right-of-way, i.e., parktr~ vehicles, etc. <br /> <br /> <br />
