AGREEMENT <br /> <br />FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES <br />FOR lHE CITY OF RAMSEY <br />COMPREHENSIVE WATER STUDY <br /> <br />1981, by <br /> <br />This Agreement, made and entered into this 14th_day of. April _, <br />and between the City of Ramsey, Minnesota, a municipal corporation, hereinafter <br />called the "City" and Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc., a Minnesota cor- <br />poration, hereinafter called the "Engineer". <br />Witnesseth, that: In consideration 6f the mutual covenants and agreements herein <br />mtained, it is agreed by and between the parties hereto as follows: <br /> <br /> The Engineer will perform a Comprehensive Water Study and prepare and <br /> furnish a report on the area of study which would include the entire <br /> 199D Urban Service Area and the Transition Area as shown on the zoning <br /> map of the City dated 4/11/80. This study area would include all <br />· areas intended to receive sanitary sewer under Plan II of the City's <br /> Comprehensive Sanitary Sewer Plan dated September 1978. The final <br /> report of the study area shall be completed in two phases and will <br /> include the following tasks: <br /> <br />Phase <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br /> I: Water Source Analysi~ <br />Review the feasibility of utilizing wells as a water source based <br />on analysis of existing well data and geology in the area. This <br />analysis shall include a discussion of the formations proposed for <br />water sources and an estimate of approximate yields. <br /> <br />R6port to the City on the feasibility of utilizing wells as a ~ater <br />source and if feasible, regeive authorization to proceed and complete <br />Phase II of the study. <br /> <br />If wells are found to be unfeasible as a water source, alternate <br />sources shall be reviewed and presented to the City.
