c) Board of Adjustment minutes dated May 12, 1981 d) Board of Review minutes dated May 14, 1981 e) Special Council meeting minutes dated May 19, 1981 f) Park Board minutes dated March 19, 1981 g) Park Board minutes dated April 23, 1981 REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A DOG KENNEL; LINDGREN, 16821 ZIRCONIUM STREET N.W.: CASE OF RANDALL The following enclosures were provided by City Staff in the Planning and Zoning Commission agenda dated June 2, 1981 for consideration in regards to this request: a) Applicants letter of request b) Applicants application. c) Public hearing notice d) Certificate of mailing public hearing notice to concerned property owners as required by City Code e) Paul and Sharon Hunts letter of objection - undated f) Finding of fact as required by City Code g) Proposed agreement The Planning and ~oning Commission went through the findings of fact with Mr. Lindgren, the applicant, for the conditional use permit and Mr. Hunt who had voiced an objection to it by letter. In going through the findings of fact they pointed out to Mr. Lindgren certain problems. The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the proposed conditional use agreement with the applicant Mr. Lindgren and the objector Mr. Paul Hunt. Mr. Lindgren stated there would not be more than three dogs main- tained on his premises and that he would comply with the City's pro- posed agreement. He was questioned about the barking dogs and he said it was not his dogs that were barking but a friends dog. He said the friend and his dog were moving out. Mr. Hunt said he didn't want to interfere with Mr. Lindgrens life style to deny him to have his dogs as long as it didn't interfere with his f ' family's life style after reviewing the proposed conditional use per- mit agreement he felt that he was adequately protected by it. Motion by Conumissionmember Deemer amd seconded by Commissionmember West to accept the findings of fact', however changing paragraph 4a to three (3) dogs of the finding of fact. Motion carried. Voting yes: Planning and Zoning Chairman Peterson, Commissionmembers Ellis, West, Deemer, Dunn and Zimmerman. Voting no None. Motion by Commissionmember Ellis and seconded by Commissionmember Deemer recommending that Council grant Mr. Lindgren a conditional use permit for a private kennel to maintain three dogs.
