c) Board of Adjustment minutes dated May 12, 1981 <br /> d) Board of Review minutes dated May 14, 1981 <br /> e) Special Council meeting minutes dated May 19, 1981 <br /> f) Park Board minutes dated March 19, 1981 <br /> g) Park Board minutes dated April 23, 1981 <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A DOG KENNEL; <br />LINDGREN, 16821 ZIRCONIUM STREET N.W.: <br /> <br />CASE OF RANDALL <br /> <br />The following enclosures were provided by City Staff in the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission agenda dated June 2, 1981 for consideration in <br />regards to this request: <br /> <br /> a) Applicants letter of request <br /> b) Applicants application. <br /> c) Public hearing notice <br /> d) Certificate of mailing public hearing notice to concerned <br /> property owners as required by City Code <br /> e) Paul and Sharon Hunts letter of objection - undated <br /> f) Finding of fact as required by City Code <br /> g) Proposed agreement <br /> <br /> The Planning and ~oning Commission went through the findings of fact <br /> with Mr. Lindgren, the applicant, for the conditional use permit and <br /> Mr. Hunt who had voiced an objection to it by letter. In going through <br /> the findings of fact they pointed out to Mr. Lindgren certain problems. <br /> The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the proposed conditional <br /> use agreement with the applicant Mr. Lindgren and the objector Mr. Paul <br /> Hunt. Mr. Lindgren stated there would not be more than three dogs main- <br /> tained on his premises and that he would comply with the City's pro- <br /> posed agreement. He was questioned about the barking dogs and he said <br /> it was not his dogs that were barking but a friends dog. He said the <br /> friend and his dog were moving out. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hunt said he didn't want to interfere with Mr. Lindgrens life style <br /> to deny him to have his dogs as long as it didn't interfere with his f <br />' family's life style after reviewing the proposed conditional use per- <br /> mit agreement he felt that he was adequately protected by it. <br /> Motion by Conumissionmember Deemer amd seconded by Commissionmember <br /> West to accept the findings of fact', however changing paragraph 4a to <br /> three (3) dogs of the finding of fact. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. Voting yes: Planning and Zoning Chairman Peterson, <br /> Commissionmembers Ellis, West, Deemer, Dunn and Zimmerman. Voting no <br /> None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissionmember Ellis and seconded by Commissionmember Deemer <br />recommending that Council grant Mr. Lindgren a conditional use permit <br />for a private kennel to maintain three dogs.
