Voting no Commission- <br />member Zimmerman. <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE A DAY CARE CENTER; CASE <br /> <br />OF JOE SENTRYZ: <br /> <br />The following enclosures were provided by the City Staff in the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission agenda dated June 2, 1981 for consideration in re- <br />garding this request: <br /> <br />a) Application for conditional use permit. <br />b) Public hearing notice. <br />c) Certificate of mailing.public hearing notice to concerned <br /> property owners as required by the City Code. <br />d) Finding of fact <br />e) Letter from Northern Oxygen <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the findings of fact with <br />Mr. and Mrs. S&ntryz in regards to their request for a conditional use <br />permit to operate a day care center at 6740 Highway #10 N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Joe Sentryz stated that he wanted the conditional use permit to <br />cover the entire building. He further went through how the facility <br />was to be laid out to operate as a day care center. He was questioner <br />on the following items: <br /> <br /> a) On-site sanitary sewer system - He stated that his sewer <br /> facility was more than adequate. He further stated if he needed <br /> to expand there was adequate room to do so. <br /> <br />b) He stated there would not be any food preparation there at <br /> the day care center. ~ <br /> <br />c) He stated that the disposal facilities of garbage.was more <br />than ~e~uate. <br /> <br />d) He stated that the little children play area would be in <br />a fenced in area. Further that children would not at any time <br />be in the vehicular traffic area. <br /> <br />". The Planning and Zoning Commission asked Mr. and Mrs. Sentryz if they <br /> had seen Northern Oxygen Service, Inc. letter dated June 1, 1981. ~r. <br /> Sentryz stated he had not see it. The Commission Chairman then asked <br /> him to read it.
