Motion by Commissionmember Dunn and seconded by Commtssionmember West <br />to approve of the finding of fact. Secondly to recommend to the City <br />Council that Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sentryz be granted a conditional use per- <br />mit to operate a day care center at 6740 Highway #10 N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Planning and Zoning Chairman Peterson, <br />Commissionmembers Dunn, Zimmerman, Deemer, Ellis and West. Voting <br />no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissionmember Deemer to move Ciotizen Input up so that Mr. <br />Jack Menkveld could be heard. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting <br />no None. <br /> <br />PLANNING AND ZONING INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Men'veld discussed his pre-sketch plan plat with Planning and <br />Zoning Commission which they had reviewed with him at their 'last meet- <br />ing on May 4~ 1981 at which time they pointed out their objections to <br />him about this pre-sketch plan plat. Mr. Dunn raised requestion to <br />Mr. Menkveld about the conflict with the City's Comprehensive Plan in <br />regards to wetlands and the DNR. The Planning and Zoning Commission · <br />requested that Jack Menkveld get concurrence from the DNR that his pro- <br />posed subdivision not be in conflict with their regulation and of course <br />not in conflict with the City Code. <br /> <br />ZERO LOT LINE DEVELOPMENTS FOR TWO OR FOUR DWELLING UNITS <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the Cities of Coon Rapids <br />and Maple Grove zoning ordinance regarding zero lot line developments <br />for two or four unit dwellings. Art Dunn stated he would have a problem <br />with it as long as this type development was shown on the plat. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson asked that the City Administrator take this to the <br />City Council and get their direction on this case as to whether they ~ <br />want the City to proceed in this direction. <br /> <br />INFORMATIONAL <br /> <br />The City Administrator addressed the following areas: <br /> <br />a) Recodification and upgrading of ordinances: <br /> <br />TheCity Administrator addressed the Planning and Zoning members <br />that it was the intention of City Staff to have a joint Council <br />and Planning and Zoning meetings to review the rough drafts <br />of these ordinance changes to conserve on time and cost.
