~bservation <br />During 1BB0, the write-off of accounts receivable For fire calls <br />considered to be uncollectible were not authorized by the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />Recammendation <br />All such write-offs should be approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />0bservatio~ <br />During 1978, the City Council changed the monthly salaries to <br />be paid to the Mayor and members of the Council. However, <br />no action was taken to amend Section No. 10.08 of the City <br />Code which established the previous salary amounts. <br /> <br />Reccmmendation <br />We again recammend that the City Code 'be amended to provide that <br />salary levels for the Mayor and members of the Council be <br />established in the annual budget. <br /> <br /> <br />
