Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Public Works Director Dean Kapler <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Civil Engineer II Leonard Linton <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the special meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:03 p.m. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to approve the <br />agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Strommen, Elvig, Jeffrey, <br />Olson, and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Elvig. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Consideration of Acquisition of Properties in Development District No. 1 for <br />Economic Development Purposes <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman reviewed that during the work session held on January 18, 2006, <br />staff presented a redevelopment study for the area west of Armstrong Boulevard. The area of the <br />study, referred to as Ramsey Crossings, is adjacent to the Ramsey Town Center project, and has <br />been discussed as a development or redevelopment project for a number of years. On February <br />8, 2006, the Ramsey Economic Development Authority (EDA) identified Ramsey Crossings as <br /> <br />Special City Council / February 21, 2006 <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
