Mayor Gamec expressed concern with the amount of townhouse developments that could come <br />forward along the river due to the clustering developments that will be coming forward. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig concurred. He stressed the need to review examples of the developments <br />referred to by Councilmember Strommen, with the language possibly written to only allow <br />building based on certain examples. <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen noted the following change to be made: Subd. 3 (d): "...up to 12% <br />on riparian land and 18% on non-riparian land shall be met:" <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to table the introduction <br />of an ordinance to amend Section 9.21 (Environmental Protection) of the City Code. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Jeffrey, Olson, and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None. Abstain: Councilmember Pearson. <br /> <br />Case #7: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance for Vacation of Easement in the Proposed Plat of Meadow; <br />Case of GM Land Company <br /> <br />Community Development Director Tmdgeon explained the final plat of Meadow requires <br />vacation of underlying drainage and utility easements. In accordance with the City Charter, the <br />ordinance introduced on February 28, 2006 is now eligible for adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to adopt Ordinance #06- <br />04 to vacate the drainage and utility easements contained on Ramsey Dental Clinic Addition and <br />Holaseks Addition. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec: aye <br />Councilmember Cook: aye <br />Councilmember Elvig: aye <br />Councilmember Jeffrey: aye <br />Councilmember Olson: aye <br />Councilmember Pearson: aye <br />Councilmember Strommen: aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #8: <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution Authorizing the Conveyance of Certain Real Property in <br />Ramsey Town Center Addition <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich advised as part of the first amendment to the Ramsey Town Center <br />Master Development Agreement, the City entered into a Reconveyancing Agreement with RTC, <br />LLC. The Reconveyancing Agreement was necessary to allow recording immediately of the <br />Subject Property to the City pending the platting of Ramsey Town Center 5th Addition.
