Mayor Gamec inquired if it would be preferential to utilize the Council Contingency fund in <br />emergency situations like this, rather than utilizing the Public Works funds. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman replied the Public Works funds being utilized are coming from areas <br />with built in contingencies. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to adopt Resolution #06- <br />03-083 approving the use of $8,875 from Council Contingency for the grinding and disposal of <br />the 2005 storm debris. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Jeffrey, Elvig, Olson, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10A: <br /> <br />Introduction of an Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Property Located at <br />14280 Sunfish Lake Boulevard and Schedule a Public Hearing to consider a <br />Business Subsidy Agreement with Riverside Manufacturing, Inc. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich explained the City has entered into a TIF agreement with Riverside <br />Manufacturing, Inc. As a part of the transaction, the City is to convey title to: The East 500 feet <br />of the South 200 feet (as measured along the East and South lines respectively) of the Northeast <br />Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NE ¼ of SE ¼) of Section numbered Twenty-seven (27), <br />Township Thirty-two (32) North of Range Twenty-five (25) West to Riverside Manufacturing. <br />In order to complete this transaction a sale ordinance needs to be introduced and adopted <br />authorizing the sale. Staff is also asking that the Business Subsidy Agreement public hearing be <br />scheduled for Tuesday, April 25, 2006. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to introduce an <br />ordinance authorizing the sale of The East 500 feet of the South 200 feet (as measured along the <br />East and South lines respectively) of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NE ¼ of SE <br />¼) of Section numbered Twenty-seven (27), Township Thirty-two (32) North of Range Twenty- <br />five (25) West, and to schedule a public hearing on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. to <br />consider a Business Subsidy Agreement with Riverside Manufacturing, Inc. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10B: Consider Approval of a Certificate of Correction for the Ramsey Town <br /> Center Fifth Addition Plat <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich explained after the plat for Ramsey Town Center Fifth Addition was <br />recorded, Anoka County noticed a surveyor's error in the plat's legal description and drawing. A <br />Certificate of Correction has been prepared by Hakanson Anderson in conjunction with Anoka <br />County.
