Decribe the overall plan for communication <br /> regarding the compensation study with all <br /> employees. (What information is to be <br /> provided; at what times throughout the study; <br /> ~ whom; how is the information to be <br /> provided?) <br /> <br /> Specifically address structure for employee <br /> communications ("town hall" meetings, <br /> supervisor-subordinates, etc.). <br /> <br /> Recommend points or steps in study at which <br /> continuin~ communication should occur. <br /> <br /> 2. Recommend optiOnS for "meet and confer" <br /> communications with exclusive bargaining <br /> representatives as required by the statute "on <br /> the development or selection of a job <br /> evaluation system." Indicate the suggested <br /> consultant role in such communications. <br /> <br /> 3. Describe at which steps and how employee <br /> participation is to be utilized in the proposed <br /> study. Should employees be included on the <br /> committee which is to evaluate jobs? If so, <br /> indicate what criteria are to be used in <br /> determining the composition of the committee <br /> and selection of individual members. <br /> <br /> 4. Describe issues to be addressed dealing with <br /> employee expectations and perceptions of <br /> "fairness" and nondiscrimination. <br /> <br />Gatherin~ Job Information and <br />Preparing Job Descriptions <br /> <br />1. 25 benchmark positions are to be identified by <br /> MAMA for inclusion in the compens~tion study. <br /> <br />2. Provide sample materials to be used (or <br /> modified for use) in gathering job information. <br /> <br /> <br />
