The specific amount of funding requested, which may not exceed $500,000. Seiectton Process: A. All applications will be evaluated to determine whether they meet the following basic requirements before they will be considered for selection: 1. The proposal may not exceed the maximum co~itment level of $500,000. 2. The proposal must clearly demonstrate the need for the type of program proposed. 3. The proposal must demonstrate that the program proposed is financially feasible. 4. The proposal must contain evidence that appropriate arrangements have been made to deliver the program. Those applications which meet the basic requirements will be further evaluated to determine if they meet any of the additional criteria listed below. A' proposal will receive 1 bonus point for each of the additional criteria it addresses. 1. Program proposes to require energy audits and the installation of energy conserving measures as a condition of receiving a loan. Program proposes to target funds to a specific geographical area in conjunction with other housing rehabilitation programs. Up to 50% of the funds available will be awarded to proposals which receive bonus points. Proposals with the most points will receive priority in selection. In the event that there are more proposals than funds available, proposals with equal numbers of points will be selected by lot. Those proposals not selected will be eligible for lottery selection for the remaining 50% of the funds. All eligible applications which did not receive bonus points and any proposals not selected in the first lottery are eligible for selection, by lot, to receive an allocation from the remaining 50% of the funds.
