NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANC~A COUNtrY, STATE ~F MINNESOTA, as foll(~s: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City of Ramsey does not discriminate <br />against handicapped individuals in offering City services and/or <br />programs. <br /> <br /> 2) That no structural or nonstructura! changes are <br />needed to protect handicapped persons fr~ discrimination. <br /> <br /> 3) That the City Staff will provide notice to the <br />public about handicapped discrimination in relation to City <br />programs ~d ~ices ~ use ~ the follewing: <br /> <br /> a) Official newspaper <br /> b) Local radio station <br /> c) Government access cable channel <br /> <br />The notice will state that the City of Ramsey does not <br />discriminate against handicapped individuals in providing city <br />services and will also outline any improvements made which may <br />make City programs and services more accessable to handicapped <br />persons. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br /> Schlueter and Reimann <br /> <br />and the follewing voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of October, 1984. <br /> <br />Resolution t84-216 <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
