ARLENE VOIT FOR A VARIANCE FROM T~E SUBDIVISION RE- OUIREMENTS FOR A METES AND BOUNDS SUBDIVISION OF OUTLOT "A" IN In 1982, the City Council passed Resolution ~82-5 which set forth the conditions for the subdivision of Outiot "A". ~ese conditions were: a) Provide adequate soils information to prove to the City that there are t~o buildable lots under the present City ordinanc~ b) Easements be provided to handle the drainage from the Rolling Green Addition as determined by the City Engineer. If the Outlot is subdivided, it is the intent that the easement be placed along the proposed subdivision line. ¢) Easements be provided for the drainage and upgrading of 167th Avenue NW to Municipal State Aid Standards as determined by the City Engineer. Condition (c) has been completed. ~he Ramssy Planning and Zoning Oa,,,,ission considered Ms. Voits's quest at the November 5th meeting. ~he C~,.',,ission reco~,~ended approval of the request contingent on the developer satisfying portions (a) and (b) of Resolution ~82-5 and obtaining a perk test rather than soil borings to prove that the soil is capable of handling the necessary septic systems. If this subdivision is approved, it will also require a variance from the required 200 foot minimu~ lot width. ~he City Engineer needed additional information from the applicant in order to review this request. If he gets that information, he will try to have a report ready at the time of the meeting. For your information, included as enclosure (D3-e) is the following: a) Maps bowing location of the Outlot b) Resolution %82-5 ~: If the City Engineer has a report ready at the meeting, consider this request and direct staff to prepare a resolu- tion for the approval/disapproval of a subdivision by metes and bounds of Out. lot "A", ~ncluding the variance for the minimum yard width re- qulrement. If the City Engineer does not have a report ready at the time of the meeting, continue this item to the next Council meeting on December 11, 1984.
