CASE ~10: <br /> <br />Motion by and seconded by to adopt <br />Ordinance #84-11 an amendment to Chapter 130.04 which is known <br />as the non-intoxicating liquor ordinance. It is directed that this <br />ordinance be published in the Anoka County Union. Please refer <br />to ordinance file for the original copy of Ordinance ~84-11. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes <br />Voting no <br /> <br />REQUEST BY GIRL SCOUTS TO DECORATE TREE IN LOBBY OF <br /> <br />MUNICIPAL CENTER: <br /> <br />Ms. Jerene Anderson of the Girl Scouts has requested they be allowed <br />to place an artificial tree in the lobby of the Municipal Center and <br />decorate it. They are also requesting that the Municipal Center be <br />used as a drop-off center for food and toys for the needy families <br />of Anoka County. The drop-off boxes would be placed under the tree <br />and persons wishing to donate food items and new toys could place <br />them in these boxes. The Girl Scouts would be placing posters around <br />at the various stores, etc. informing people of this. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of this <br />request. The following proposed motion is hereby submitted for your <br />consideration: <br /> <br />Motion by and seconded by to <br />approve/disapprove of the Girl Scouts' request to decorate a tree <br />in the lobby of the Ramsey Municipal Center and use this as a <br />drop-off center for food donations and toys for needy families <br />in Anoka County. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
