ACREAGE R~QU IREHENTS <br /> <br />A. Not more than one (1) horse may be kept on a lot of at least <br /> 18,300 square feet provided it is enclosed in a pen or corral <br /> containing at least 800 square feet, including a stable under <br /> a roof of a least 100 square feet. <br /> <br /> B. Not more than two (2) horses may be kept on a lot of at least <br /> 1/2 acre (21,780 square feet) provided they are enclosed in a <br /> pen or corral containing at least 800 square feet per such <br /> animal including a stable of at least 100 square feet per <br /> such animal. <br /> <br /> C. Three or more horses may be kept on a lot of at least one (1) <br /> acre (43,560 square feet) and they must be enclosed in a pen <br /> or corral containing at least 3,200 square feet and there <br /> must be a stable under roof of at least 100 square feet per <br /> such animal. <br /> ~-- -~-~-~ ~ or similar enclosures m.ust, be of <br /> D. Fences for ~o, ...... · <br /> sufficient ~eight and strength to retain such animals. Extra <br /> care must be taken to insure that stallions are properly <br /> enclosed. <br /> <br />II. RODENT & INSECT OONTROL <br />A. Manure and other waste material must be removed from the pen, <br /> corral, stable or similar enclosure evez~] seven (7) days, <br /> except where the horses, ponies, or colts are confined to an <br /> area of at least four (4) acres. If, however, in an area of <br /> four acres or more the Horse Council finds that the manure <br /> and other waste materials create a nuisance by attracting <br /> flies, other insects and rodents or by creating offensive <br /> odors, the City Council upon recommendation by the Horse <br /> Council may order that the manure and other waste materials <br /> be removed within four (4) days of notice to the owner of the <br /> land ordering him to do so. <br /> enclosures shall be <br /> B.
