PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard, NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Todd Cook <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Human Reso~Ces Manager Givonna Reed <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Cook called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Olson, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to approve the agenda <br />as submitted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Cook, Councilmembers Olson and Pearson. Voting <br />No: None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case Itl: Consider Ending Probationary Period for the Parks Lead Person <br /> <br />Human Resources Manager Reed explained on September 14, 2005, Michael Berge was <br />promoted to Parks Lead Person. Mr. Berge has successfully completed his six-month <br />probationary period as the Parks Lead Person and the Public Works Director recommends <br />retaining Mr. Berge as the City's Parks Lead Person. <br /> <br />Councilmember Olson asked how long Mr. Berge has worked for the Parks Department. <br />Human Resources Manager Reed replied 1 to 1 ½ years. <br /> <br />Personnel Committee / March 28, 2006 <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> -21- <br /> <br /> <br />
