Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO RECRUIT A PATROL OFFICER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Chief has expressed a need to hire an additional patrol <br />officer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has designated funding in the 2006 budget to <br />support this position; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, staff has requested authorization to begin the recruitment process <br />for a patrol officer. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br /> Grant staff authorization to begin the recruitment process for a patrol officer. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.' <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 11th day of April, 2006. <br /> <br /> G:~Administ ration\Human Resources~Recruitment'~olice~Patrol\04-06 Patrol Recruitment~auth to recruit patrol Officer.doc <br />-262- <br /> <br /> <br />
