Sylvia Frolik <br />Associate Planner Amy Geisler <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:03 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVEAGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Sketch Plan for GADS Prairie <br /> <br />Ass't Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Frolik stated Aaron Stritesky submitted <br />a sketch plan to develop detached townhome units on the 2.3 acre parcel located to the west of <br />Nowthen Boulevard and north of Iodine Street N.W. The subject property is zoned R-1 Medium <br />Density Residential, which allows up to 7 units per acre. The sketch plan proposes 11 units, <br />which equates to a density of approximately 4.7 units per acre. Ms. Frolik explained City Code <br />requires all townhome developments to be served by at least one main public road. The sketch <br />plan has been designed to be served solely by a private street. This design conflicts with City <br />Code.
