Further discussion: Chairperson Cook stated this elimination of term limits has been a long time <br />coming, and things can now be handled properly. Things should be able to be handled as they <br />arise with the new policy that is in place. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE / STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman requested the Committee discuss a selection process for "Employee <br />of the Year". <br /> <br />After discussion, the consensus of the Committee was to direct staff to draft a guideline for the <br />"Employee of the Year" selection process. The guideline should incorporate a procedure for <br />each department and councilmembers to nominate an employee, with the Personnel Committee <br />weighing the nominations. The guideline should be included on the agenda of the April 4, 2006 <br />Council work session.
