Members Present: Councilmember A1 Sorteberg Councilmember Gary Reimann Also Present: City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle Director of Technical Services Clayton Berg G~ief of Police Mike Auspos ~hemeeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m. BUSINESS ~: Approval of City AttorneY'S Reauest to Bill Reaular ~ourlv Rate to A~Plfcants and Developers: ~he City Administrator referred to the City Attorney's memo and explained the situation to the Personnel Committee. He said that the City would still be involved as far as billing out, but there would be no additional cost to the city. ~btion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to recommend that the City Council authorize the City Attorney to bill applicants and developers at his regular office billing rate. Motion carried. Voting yes: Councilmembers Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: ~ne. Case~2: Approval of Anne Norris to Permanent Employment Statue as the City's Urban EconomicDevelormentPlanner: 9he City Administrator stated that Anne Norris has completed her six month probationary period with the City of Ramsey as of February 28, 1985. Staff is reco~ending that she be placed on permanent employment status. Be further stated that he is extr~ely hapuy with her work and that she is a real asset to the City. Councilmember Reimann asked if anything has been changed or should be changed in her job description. City Administrator Schnelle replied no, but she has taken on more areas of work such as landfill ~eglslation. She has taken over the handling of the Planning and Zoning Commission and Chairman Ken Peterson, as well as Don Greenberg, Chairman of the Economic DeveloFment Commission, speak very highly of her and feel that she is doing an excellent job.
