PROCEEDINGS OF ~nR <br />PERSONNEL CG~MI'i'i%B <br />CI~ OF I~SEY <br /> ANC~A O~JN~Y <br /> S~]~ O~ MINNESO~I <br /> <br />A Personnel Committee meeting was held on Wednesday, March 6, 1985 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. ~, Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> Councilmember Gary Reimann <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />Director of Technical Services Clayton Berg <br />G~ief of Police Mike Auspos <br /> <br />~hemeeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m. <br /> <br />BUSINESS <br /> <br />~: Approval of City AttorneY'S Reauest to Bill Reaular ~ourlv Rate <br /> to A~Plfcants and Developers: <br /> <br />~he City Administrator referred to the City Attorney's memo and explained the <br />situation to the Personnel Committee. He said that the City would still be <br />involved as far as billing out, but there would be no additional cost to the <br />city. <br /> <br />~btion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />recommend that the City Council authorize the City Attorney to bill applicants <br />and developers at his regular office billing rate. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Councilmembers Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: <br />~ne. <br /> <br />Case~2: Approval of Anne Norris to Permanent Employment Statue as the <br /> City's Urban EconomicDevelormentPlanner: <br /> <br />9he City Administrator stated that Anne Norris has completed her six month <br />probationary period with the City of Ramsey as of February 28, 1985. Staff is <br />reco~ending that she be placed on permanent employment status. Be further <br />stated that he is extr~ely hapuy with her work and that she is a real asset to <br />the City. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann asked if anything has been changed or should be changed <br />in her job description. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle replied no, but she has taken on more areas of work <br />such as landfill ~eglslation. She has taken over the handling of the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission and Chairman Ken Peterson, as well as Don Greenberg, <br />Chairman of the Economic DeveloFment Commission, speak very highly of her and <br />feel that she is doing an excellent job. <br /> <br /> <br />
