Funding for this improvement is proposed to come from Pavement Management Funds, 2023 Temporary <br />Pavement Repairs Funds and Stormwater Utility Funds. <br />Bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald and in Finance and Commerce on March 31 and April 7, 2023. <br />On April 21, 2023, a total of four (4) bids were received, opened, and tabulated, and the following bids were <br />found to comply with the advertisement for bids. <br />Contractor Total Bid <br />North Valley, Inc. $536,886.89 <br />Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. $598,075.79 <br />Park Construction Company $617,800.35 <br />Omann Brothers Paving Inc. $681,971.27 <br />Engineer's Estimate $657,915.40 <br />The bid of North Valley, Inc. of Nowthen, Minnesota, in the amount of $536,886.89 for the total bid construction <br />of said improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder. The construction staking is included <br />in the indirect project costs, and proposed to be paid with Pavement Management funds. <br />City Staff proposes to administer and inspect construction.
