1. Exempt fi-om the permit and fee requirements l~ut shall be allowed <br /> onJy as accessory to an approved subdivision plat or site plan; - <br /> <br />2. Limited to sixty-four (64) square feet in area; <br /> <br />3. Limited to one (1) such sign per stree! frontage upon which the <br /> property abuts, exclusive of directional signs; <br /> <br />4. To be removed when the project is one-hundred percent (100%) <br /> completed, sold or leased; <br /> <br />5. . Not to be located within fifty (50 feet) of a pre-existing residence. <br /> <br />Temporary real estate signs for the purpose of selling or leasing individual <br />parcels or buildings in any district are permitted and are: <br /> <br />1. Exempt from the permit and fee requirements; <br /> <br />2. Limited to six (6) square feet in area for r~sidential property and <br /> thirty-two (32) square feet for non-residential property; <br /> <br />3. Limited to one (1)' such sign per street frontage upon which the <br /> property abuts, exclusive of directional signs (Exception: An <br /> additional "Open House" sign may be used); <br /> <br />' 4. To b'e removed i,vithin thirty (-30) days following the lease or sale. <br /> <br /> Subd. 6. Portable signs ale permitted only in business and industrial type <br />districts and ke subject to temporary permit and fee requirements. Temporary sign permits for' <br />portable signs .shall be allowed for seven (7) day periods, six (6) times a year per business. <br />' However, where more than one (1) proprietorship or business uses the same building or parcel, <br />no more than two (2) portable sign devices shall be in place at any one time. <br /> <br /> Subd. 7. Public Event Si,°as may be erected and maintained for a period <br />not to exceed thirty (30) days prior to the date on wl-rich the event is scheduled to occur and shall <br />be removed within' forty-eight .(48) hours of the termination of said event. A fixed fee, as <br />established by City Council, per sign not removed within 48 hours following the term/nation of <br />the event will be charged and said charges will be used to defray the cost of reinoval by the city. <br />Number, location and size of said public event signs shall be subject to the approval of the <br />Zon/ng Admirfistrator with consideration ~ven to the public safety and the signage reasonably <br />necessary and appropriate for the intended purpose. <br /> <br />9.12.06 District Regulations.
