The gross surface area of a ground sign shall not exceed one hundred il 00) <br />square feet for each exposed face nor exceed an aggregate gross surface area <br />of two hundred square feet. <br /> <br />A ground sign shall not ~project hiaher than ten (10) feet, as measured from <br />· based of sign or grade of the nearest adjacent roadway, whichever is higher. <br /> <br />9.12.11 Planned Unit Developments <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. The developer shall be required to submit a sigr{ plan for <br />approval, drawn to scale w/th elevations. All signs and their s{~pporting structures §hall maintain clearance and <br />.non-interference with all' surface and underground facilities and conduits for water, sewage, gas, <br />electricity, or communications equipment or lines. In addition, the placement of all signs and <br />their supporting structures shall not interfere with natural or artificial drainage or surface or <br />underground water. <br /> <br /> Subd. 5. Ail signs, except those attached fiat against the wall of a building shall <br />be constructed to Withstand minimum wind loads as follows: <br /> <br />a. Solid Signs. Thirty (30) pounds per square foot per'face of the sign.. <br /> <br />Open Signs.
