Community Development Director Trudgeon replied there is a five year limit on interim use <br />permits, but the Planning Commission felt more comfortable with a three year limit on this <br />application. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Resolution #06- <br />04-134 adopting Findings of Fact #0760 relating to the request for an interim use permit. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Elvig requested clarification that a No Parking sign will be <br />posted on Sunfish Lake Boulevard as part of this action. Community Development Director <br />Trudgeon replied condition no. 4 of the permit states "The Permittee shall refrain from parking <br />cars on County Road 57 (Sunfish Lake Boulevard) and limit the amount of overflow cars on <br />Sunfish Lake Court as not to impede or restrict traffic flow." Councilmember Elvig questioned <br />if the permit can be reviewed if there is a problem with the parking. Community Development <br />Director responded in the affirmative. He explained if there is a problem the license could be <br />revoked, but staff will follow the Council's direction to request the County designate Sunfish <br />Lake Boulevard as No Parking. Councilmember Olson inquired if the building has been checked <br />for this type of use. Community Development Director Trudgeon replied all the occupancy <br />requirements will need to be adhered to. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Request for Site Plan Review of Riverside Manufacturing: Case of Stone <br />Construction <br /> <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon stated Stone Construction has submitted a site plan <br />application for the construction of a 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility located on the <br />southwest comer of Sunfish Lake Boulevard and 143ra Lane. A portion of the building will be <br />utilized by Riverside Manufacturing and a portion is to be leased to another firm. The site is <br />zoned E-1 Employment and Manufacturing and office uses are permitted in this district. Mr. <br />Tmdgeon indicated the building is proposed to be constructed with primarily rock-face block, <br />which is permitted by City Code. The building elevations will also show the use of smooth <br />block and windows, which provides accents to the block. The revisions are acceptable to staff. <br />The applicants have submitted landscaping, grading and utility plans that are generally <br />acceptable to staff, with a few minor revisions. The Tree Preservation Plan has been submitted, <br />and is currently being reviewed by staff. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon explained the City will be taking a 20-foot wide <br />drainage and utility easement across the northern portion of the property in order to access a <br />large drainage pond in the rear of the property.
