CASE # <br /> <br />CONSIDER AUTHORIZATION OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR <br />CINEMA DEVELOPMENT WITHIN RAMSEY TOWN CENTER <br /> By: James E. Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The first amendment to the Master Development Agreement with Ramsey Town Center, <br />completed in February 2005, included language that would allow the City to exercise an option <br />agreement to purchase property within the core area of the Town Center for specific purposes. <br />The area immediately to the west of the structured parking facility currently under construction <br />was designated as one of those parcels and was to be used for purposes of a cinema (movie <br />theater). <br /> <br />The draft Request for Proposal (attached) has been forwarded and is ready for Council <br />consideration. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to authorize Request for Proposals of cinema project within the Ramsey Town Center. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />CC: 04/25/06 <br /> <br />-343- <br /> <br /> <br />
