recommends introduction of the ordinance to vacate the road and drainage and utility easements adjacent to and within Lot 1, Block I, Westby First Addition. Citizen Input Jim Overtoom, 16660 Jasper Street, commended the Council, staffand Planning Commission on the property notification for this public hearing. He stated he supports this resolution to vacate the easements so the traffic flow out of the Oakwood Development can occur in a proper and safe manner. Motion by. Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Jeffrey, Elvig, Olson, Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. The public hearing was closed at 7:08 p.m. Council Business Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:08 p.m. Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to introduce an ordinance to vacate the drainage and utility easements on Lot 1, Block 1, Westby First Addition, and to introduce an ordinance to vacate 167' Avenue NW and Marble Street NW as recorded in the pla. t~ of Westby First Addition. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Pearson, Elvig, Jeffi'ey, Olson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. Ass't Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Frolik indicated final adoption of the ordinance will be at the next Council meeting.
