Presentation <br /> <br />Ass't Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Frolik explained the final plat for River <br />Pines 6th Addition has been pulled from the agenda this evening. The public heating for this <br />easement vacation was advertised for tonight, so it should be opened and adjourned. If this plat <br />goes forward the easement vacation will be re-advertised. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Olson, Cook, Jeffrey, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed at 7:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Public Hearing and Request for Vacation of Easement in Ramsey Town <br />Center 3~d Addition; Case of Sophia-Ramsey, LLC <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:fl p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:11 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Ass't Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Frolik explained as part of fulfilling the <br />City's .requirements to provide as-builts upon completion of development projects, the <br />developers of Ramsey Town Center 3~d Addition determined that the rear wall of the Cobom's <br />building encroaches the drainage and utility easement on the south side of the building. The <br />amount of encroachment measures 5 feet x 107 feet. The City Engineering Deparhnent has <br />reviewed the request and determined that there are no utilities lying under this 5 x 7 foot area. <br />Ms. Frolik advised staff recommends introduction of the ordinance to vacate a portion of the <br />drainage and utility easement along the south property line of Lot 1, Block I, Ramsey Town <br />Center 3rd Addition. <br /> <br />City.
