Chairperson McDilda asked Coordinator Anderson if he could arrange for Ron Peterson and
anyone else fi.om his organization to come to the May EPB meeting before ground-truthing.
Coordinator Anderson stated he would try to arrange it.

Environmental Specialist Bacon stated that along with solving the question about what "non-
applicable" means in the report, the question should be asked how to maintain the integrity that
is already there, and what the process is to send remnants into the future for potential restoration.

Chairperson McDilda concurred, adding that it could be potentially televised to see exactly
where the EPB is with this, or televise a final report. He tabled the discussion until the next
meeting.

Board Member Bentz asked ifPEC could bring in a GIS map. Chairperson McDilda stated that
could be arranged.

Councilmember Strommen concurred that there is enough wetlands noted but a map would be
helpful.

Chairperson McDilda stated that he didn't know how difficult it would be to get a copy of all the
maps downloaded, but it could be suggested. Board Member Bentz suggested that Ron Peterson
bring his own computer to the next meeting.

Case//3: Environmental Expo Discussion and FAQ's

Chairperson McDilda asked if members had brought Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) for
the Environmental Expo scheduled for April 29, 2006.

Chairperson McDilda suggested that two EPB members staff the Expo booth at all times.
Members of the EPB volunteered to watch the booth according to the following schedule:

7:00 a.m. set up time.
8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
12:00 p.m. - close

Chairperson McDilda
Board Members Fmeburg and Olds
Board Members Sibilski and Bentz
Chairperson McDilda

Environmental Specialist Bacon and Councilmember Strommen stated they would attend the
Expo and fill in when available. Chairperson McDilda stated that Board Members Hustvedt and
Max may also be available. Chairperson McDilda volunteered to provide maps and prepare a
flier with the FAQ's.

Coordinator Anderson stated that he spoke with the County and has a compost bin for display.
He stated that he has a sign up sheet prepared but Anoka County is not selling the compost bins.
He stated that Dakota County has some bins available so if people are interested, they can s!gn
up for them through Dakota County.

Chairperson McDilda asked for a "How to Compost" sheet to go along with the sign up.

Environmental Policy Board/April 3, 2006
