GERALD ACKERMAN <br />15510 ZIRCONIUM U'I'~F~T N.W. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br /> e <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />That Mr. Gerald Ackerman, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has <br />properly applied for a Board of Adjustment variance from Section <br />170.015G of the City Code regarding the height of accessory structures. <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Board of Adjustment for a public <br />hearing pursuant to Section 170.013G of the City Code on May 25, 1988 <br />and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the <br />minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as part of these <br />findings by reference. <br /> <br />That the subject property is generally known as 15510 Zirconium Street <br />N.W. and is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 11, Block 2, High Point Addition: Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />That the subject property is located in the R-iR Rural Residential <br />District and is approximately 5 acres in size. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to construct an accessory structure <br />approximately 22 feet high. <br /> <br />That Section 170.015G of the City Code limits the height of accessory <br />structures to a maximum of 16 feet. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that there are exceptional circumstances <br />applying to the subject property, namely, that a drainage ditch and low <br />area go through the northern portion of the subject property. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the variance is necessary for the <br />preservation of the substentia: property right, that is, his need for <br />additional storage space for vehicles, yard equipment and personal <br />property. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the proposed accessory structure <br />will be used only for the storage of vehicles, personal property and <br />equipment. <br /> <br />That if granted, the variance will grant the Applicant special <br />privileges that are denied by the Zoning Chapter to other owners of <br />property inthe R-1RRural Residential District. <br /> <br />That if granted, the variance will not endanger public safety. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br /> <br />
