Voting Yes: Chairman Zi~merman, Co~m~issioners Hendriksen, <br />Howell, Sh~way, Holm, ~a~ue and Terry. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Consider Amendment To Chaoter 110 Of The City Code Reaardin9 <br /> Requlations For Keepino Vicious Do~s: <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review a draft ordinance ~nendment prepared by <br />City Attorney Goodrich. <br /> <br />The Con~ission directed that the following be added to the draft ordinance: <br /> <br />Item 1.d.4 - Effectively under voice control of the u~ner. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Howell to <br />recommend that City Council adopt the ordinance to amend Chapter 110 of the <br />City regarding regulations for keeping vicious dogs. <br /> <br />Amendment by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Shumway that <br />the Reclaiming section be amended to indicate that the fine for the first <br />impoundment will be $50 and the second impoundment in a 12 month period <br />will be $100.00. <br /> <br />Amendment carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zin~erman, Cu~u~issioners Howell, <br />Sh~nway, Holm, I~Due and Terry. Voting No: Co~,~[ssioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: The Commission directed that the term 'veterinary <br />surgeon' in the Rabies Vaccination section be changed to 'veterinary'. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />Howell, Sh~way, Holm, r~ue and Terry. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case S2: Consider Amendment TO Chaoter 110 Of The C~tv Code Reqarding <br /> Regulations For Keeoina Horses; <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed the proposed ordinance amendment regarding <br />regulations for keeping horses. <br /> <br />The Commission directed that Item 3 of Section 110.073 (Rodent And Insect <br />Control) be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />'No person shall leave accumulations of horse manure on any improved <br />street, sidewalk or alley, nor upon any area or lot other than the lot <br />or area on which the horse is normally confined.' <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Howell to <br />recommend that City Council adopt the ordinance to amendChapter 110 of the <br />City Code regarding regulations for keeping horses. <br /> Planning & Zoning/February 18, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 2 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
