Further Discussion: The Commission directed that Item 3 under Section <br />110.074 be amended to incorporate the State statute definition for public <br />and private nuisance. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Cor~nissioners Hendriksen, <br />Imbue, Howell, Sh~ay, Holm and Terry. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Review Park Dedication Requ_irements. <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed information provided regarding what other <br />communities require for park dedication. ~. Goodrich read what State law <br />allows for park dedication. <br /> <br /> }btion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Holm directing <br /> Commissioner Shu~way to request that the Park and Recreation Commission <br /> review Ramey's park dedication requir~ents and report back to the Planning <br /> and Zoning Commission with their recommendation for amending same. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Goodrich noted that Section 170.064 of the <br />existing ordinance needs rewriting and clarification. Commissioner <br />Hendriksen requested that the Park Commission attempt to formulate a <br />recommendation that will provide consistency between land and cash <br />dedication in order that they are somewhat equitable. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />l~nue, Howell, Shu-s~ay, Holm and Terry. Permitt~ <br /> Si_(rnaae For Shopping Centers And Mu]ti-Tenant Buildings: <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed information regarding signage regulations in other <br />com~t~ities. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Howell to <br />reco.~d that Ramsey's City Code be amended to incorporate the following <br />signage regulations for shopping centers and multi-tenant buildings: <br /> <br />Maximu~ area identification sign permitted shall be 200 square <br />feet in the Hwy. #10 corridor and 120 square feet along all other <br />trunk highways. <br /> <br />b. Total wall signage permitted shall not exceed 10% of the wall <br /> area. <br /> <br />Signs in shopping centers must be designed and arranged in <br />accordance with comprehensive sign planfor entire shopping center <br />as approved by city.
